I like that Obama seems to have direct experience with not being able to afford health care. This gives him a bit more credibility. I also think that Clinton has a leg up on everybody else because she has been through the process and seen just how difficult a major overhaul like this would be.
The three authors of this blog are students in the school of Public Health at UNC- Chapel Hill.
The health care system in the United States is failing. The complexity of the numerous issues facing health care can be confusing. We will increase awareness and understanding of these issues as they relate to the 2008 Presidential Election.
Our blog will provide a source of information regarding problems with the health care system and the health care platform of three democratic presidential candidates: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards.
Please comment on all our posts, take our polls, and send us emails with questions. This blog is an open forum and we want all opinions heard.
